Wedding Count Down!!

We finally picked a date for our wedding!!! September 13th, 2009. We want it to be a small wedding...No more then about 75 people (and even thats pushing it!!). We dont want a ton of fuss and whatnot..we just want to be married! We would have gon to the courthouse a long time ago but we both wanted the actual wedding. So I already have some things picked out! My dress for one, the colors, the type of flowers I want. Just little stuff like that. We are thinking of hiring a planner but my mom says she wants to do it. We are going to let her give it a try!

All About Elsie!!

Just so you know...I posted 2 seperate blogs so after reading this...scroll down and read the next!!

So I realize I dont have a bunch about Elsie on here and since she is becoming one of my babies...I wanted to put a little more detail about her on here!!!

I love this picture. I took it at my grandparents house a few weekends ago. Elsie was talking to her great grandpa about how she wants a puppy. We are thinking about getting one soon. She was telling him everything. What she would do with it..what she would name it..even how it would act! She was being so cute!!

Elsie (In the Black) and her new best friend, Emma. Emmas Mom and I decided to enroll the girls into a kiddie ballet class. I think its more running around then ballet and I like it!! The girls love it! I was watching Emma while her mom was running to the grocery store after the "ballet" class and they were dancing around until Aharon asked if they were bing Ninjas. They said no but then started acting like ninjas. It was pretty funny.

Aharon told Elsie that he was going to build her a play area in the backyard. He showed her pictures of little playhouses and everything. But he failed to tell her that it wouldnt be until atleast May of 2009...Not that she would have understood that anyways!! So now everyday she askes him when he will do it. I told him not to tell her at all but he cant keep a secret..even from a 2 year old! So on this day when she asked why he hadnt started it, he said "I have to clean it up back there first." A smart answer because we do have to do some cleaning out there first. She said ok. Five minutes later The back door is open and she is out there sweeping. I started laughing soooooooo hard when I saw it!!! She finished like 20 minutes later and came inside and told Aharon that he could start now!

Four Months...

I cant believe it was 4 months ago that I was laying in the hospital bed asking if I could push yet...LOL

My babies have grown so much. They are huge!!! The doctor says they are very big for twins (but not too big! I made sure he clarified!!) I wish they were still in my tummy so I could be with them always!!

And a little surprising news!!!!! Aharon asked me last night when we can have another! I said "we have 2 for sure...trying to get another one and you want to have another?!" He just looked at me and said "Yes." I told him to ask again when the twins turn Two. He is CRAZY!!!

Hoilday Spirit

I cant believe it;s already December. The time has gone so fast!! We have been busy setting up our house for holidays and visiting friends. Everyone wants to see the babies!! Both our babies are acting like little piggies lately. We started them on rice cereal and they LOVE it!!!! Jack is 16lbs 3oz and Lily is 16lbs 10oz. They also completely sleep through out the night with out problems. Elsie is doing amazing. She says her ABC's and can count to 30 now. Im not positive if she is ahead or behind but we dont have to start really worrying about that for another 3-5 months. We have been doing pretty well. Im just tired! The twins are discovering their voices and using them ALOT!!!! Elsie has been making friends with our neighbors daughter so we have been hearing alot of laughter and giggling out of them. She is just a few months older then Elsie.

Elsie and I were on the computer looking at toys for Christmas and some how we can across gingerbread houses. Elsie wanted to make one so bad so I told her we would. We went to the store and bought 2 kits (yes..I know..I should have done everything from scratch but who has time?? I dont live in perfectville!!) When Aharon saw them and learned I bought a kit..He asked why I didnt make them from scratch. Im still a little annoyed at him! LOL. I have to admit that I kind of took over the project but Elsie made her very own ginger bread house!

Im simply tired....

This will probably be a very short blogging session! Im so tired! The twins have ear infections and Elsie has the stomach flu. Lets just say that I envy the fact that Aharon gets to go to work.

Elsie has been throwing up almost every 2-4 hours and I feels so bad because it terrifies her. She doesnt understand and it just scares her. The twins have been crying and whinny all day. They only want to be held which means I had to get the slings out and carrying 2 babies at once is hard. Elsie is also in the hold me mood so I feel bad that I cant sit and hold them all at the same time.

So I guess Im entering into the truths about mommyhood?? LOL. I just feel so bad for my babies!!! They shouldnt have to go through all this.

Lily isnt liking the tummy time too much and was screaming her head off to daddy when this moment was captured!! And yes...I know Elsie has a binky in her mouth..we are working on it but realizing it is just like climbing up a dirt hill in the rain. Its hard and isnt that much fun!!!

Just Updates...

I just wanted to put out some updates on the family. Lily and Jack are doing amazing. Jack is starting to hold is head up at times and Lily is thinking about it. Im trying to let them lay on their tummies alot more because I know that it helps. The biggest news is that they sleep through the night now!!! For the past week or so they have been going to bed between 9:30 and 10:30 and waking up around 5am to 6am. Except for one night Lily made a big(!!!) mess in her diaper which got everywhere. Ive been pumping so Aharon and others can feed and also supplementing with formula. As many know..My babies are little piggies! They eat 4 to 7 ouces at almost every feeding so they are going to be little chunksters until they start moving!!

Elsie is still staying with us. Im trying not to make this public but only trusted people read my blog so I will fill you in...We may be considering adopting her in the next few months. Alot of issues came out in the divorce mediation and they werent very good ones for her mom or her dad (my brother). Both are unable to care for her at this time and her mom doesnt want custody or visitation and my brother is having major issues that he may have to leave for a long time to take care of. Aharon and I had no idea any of these things were going on but their case worker talked to us and informed us that both parents are unable to care for her now and in the future. But onto positive!!!! She is a huge help during the day while Aharon is at work. She helps me fold clothes..Make meals..Change diapers..Everything! Im so happy she is with us.

Aharon and I are doing good. He wants us to take a "night for ourselves" one weekend this month and go to out of town for the night to just reconnect but Im not sure. I mean, I would LOVE to go but I dont want to leave my babies...Any thoughts??

Caterpillers Can Be Very Loud!!

We just bought the twins Halloween outfits!!! Yes...I know...I waited to the last minute but I dont thing they minded!! They dont seem to like them AT ALL!!!!

We decided to take Elsie to the pumpkin patch this weekend, we found out the twins had little colds so we left them with Grandparents so that it could be all about Elsie. We're trying to really give her alot of attention with what going on in her life lately. I think it was alot better that we did leave the babies at home because my allegies were horrible with all the hay so I know they would have been miserable!

My Wedding Dress

I didnt expect to buy my wedding dress anytime soon but I already did!!! I was on craigslist and just looking and I saw an ad for this dress. I totally and completely loved it (and the price!) so o called and asked if I could come see it and try it on. My mom and sister went with me and the dress zipped perfectly and looked amazing. My mom started crying and my sister was telling me how amazing I looked and that I HAD to buy it. I looked at my mom and she just nooded and I knew. I always expected to go to some fancy store to by my wedding dress but instead I went to some ladies house!! And the good part is the price....$125!!! So if I do end up finding something I like better, its not too much of a loss but I dont think I will!! I totally love this dress!

Ive been Tagged!!!!

Sorry it took so long!!!!! So lets see...Im supposed to put 6 of my quirks...Hmm...Here it goes!!

1. This one is totally weird but I dont know why I do it. I have to itch equally. It sounds wierd but its like this...if I itch one leg, I have to itch the other. I think its minor OCD but Ive done it for so long that now I itch both at one time. It can be really weird but its a quirk!

2. Like Kristina, I also have to have matching bottles. They just look better when they match!! Also I have to use clear nipples. The brown colored ones gross me out and I always think they are dirty. I try to match up all the bottles when they come out of the dishwasher so that I dont have to go through and find a matching color. And if its a patterned bottle then I have to use a color thats on the bottle alot.

3. I sleep with my feet out of the covers. Ive done this ever since I was little and no clue why. I have both feet out and the blankets up over my head usually in the mornings! Its funny because my mom does the same thing so I guess I got it from her. Its weird how things get passed from parent to child like that.

4. When I get in the car I have to empty any trash thats in it first. Like it theres a Starbucks cup from the day before, I have to throw it way. I think its because one time I left a a sup of chocolate milk in the car for like a week and I accidently took a drink while driving. It was horrible!!!!! So I guess I dont want to make that mistake again!!

5. When I go inside of a fast food place and eat there, I have to stand by the counter to try to watch them make my food. I dont like alot of things so almost all of my orders of food have a modification on them and I hate waiting for them to remake it so I would rather tell them there mistake before I get my food. The things I really dont like are mayo, onions, bell peppers and sour cream and alot of fast food places have one of those on most there food.

6. Everyone has to sit in there designated spots at dinner or any meals we eat at the table. I like order and control so I guess thats why! Lily and Jack even have there own high chairs. I dont switch them around. I guess Im a little nurotic but Im just me!!!!

Its a Little Early for Wedding Season But.......

We are going to start the plans!! We know that with the holidays coming up that some may think we are a wee bit crazy but we arent going to be making alot of final decisions until after the holidays. The only thing we may choose now is like where it will be because I know they fill up fast!!!! I may start a new blog to post all about the wedding updates because Im positive there will be a ton! We went to my best friends wedding on Sunday and it was amazing. I want to make ours as perfect as it can be. It will be hard but I hope it will work out!! Everyone should give me all their input on what to do!!

Elsies Room

We want Elsie to feel like she is completely at home while she stays with us so we made the decision to decorate her own room. I didnt know what to do for it but basically we just made it like Elsies personality. She loves to look at books and I was given a TON by family members so we stuck all of them in there.

We got REALLY lucky and saw our neighbor was having a yeard sale. Well we bought the bed there and the leaf thing and the little kid table all for $40 bucks. Elsie loves the leaf...I dont really know why!

We bought the bedding and shelves at Ikea for like $60 I think and we had everything else. The flower lamp we bought to go into Lilys room but when we put it in there, I hated it so it was sitting in a closet. The dresser was just one that Aharon had but we put new harware on it. The flower picture, I think, makes the room perfect. Another thing we had no where to put!

her or she had already. She loves her room and I hope she gets to use it alot!!

Engagment Ring!

I finally got my ring!! Aharon and I went shopping with the kids on Saturday to try to buy bedding for Elsies room and we decided to look inside of this jewlery store that was having a huge sale. We were planning on just looking and then Aharon asked the sales guy to show us this ring. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I loved it but didnt want to make a fuss about buying it because its something that I didnt really need at the moment. Aharon asked the guy how much it was and the price was really good. He looked at me and told the guy we would take it! I couldnt believe it! I love it!!! Its a princess cut surrounded in a square with other diamonds. I couldnt ask for more now!

We Have ANOTHER Child!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not from us but from my brother. He is having a very tough time right now so my niece Elsie is living with us!!!!!!!!! My brother is going through a very hard divorce and my ex sister in law (A VERY HORRID WOMAN!!!!!!) walked out on them and doenst want anything to do with either of them. I cried when I heard this. So on top of meeting with lawyers, my brother is working 80 work week and was trying to raise a 2 year old. We told him we would take her until he could again. He still sees her almost everyday so he isnt abandoning her. She loves it though!!! Heres some pictures from her 2nd birthday that was on September 2nd.

I also have some picture of her in the hospital after the twins were born that I will post soon! We are also going to paint and buy her furniture this weekend so pictures of her new room will be coming soon too!!!!! Stay Tuned!!!!!

Wanted to Update on the Health!!!

So I forget to always put how big and what not the babies are.....Well when we went to the doctors on friday for their one month check, Jack was 11lbs and 2oz and Lily was 10lbs and 10oz. Yes, our babies eat A LOT!!! The doctor cant believe they are this big already but says it isnt bad.

Twins and Weddings!!!!

So the twins are one month old and one day today!!! I cant believe it have been a month. They are amazing. I cant seem to ever take my eyes off of them!!!! And now my life will be even better!!!!!!!! Aharon and I are going to plan the wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We decided last night to start the plans. Im soo excited!!!! Of course now the babies are crying!

How do you get sick in summer????

How do you get sick in the summer? I have had a headcold for about 2 days and it is horrible. Dont people get sick in the winter??? Not September!!! I get sweaty and cold at the same time and it is really gross! Maybe it is because ive been so tired and run down. The twins havent been sleeping at all during the night.....arg.....they are asleep now so Im going to go do the same!!!
