Our Living Room

Our Living Room!! My mother designed it all!

Proud Mommy!!!

I am very much a proud mommy!!!!

3 Days

10 Days Old

When you're this tired......

You can just laugh at the mistakes you make!

Atleast thats what Aharon and I have been doing.......With about 3 hours of sleep a night and maybe 2 during the day if we are lucky...mistakes are bound to happen! Luckily they arent big ones..just slips of the minds and such.

Like the other day Aharon took a trip to Walmart to do some shopping and when he got home, he had the look that only a man has when they think (and remember, i said THINK) they did something AMAZING!!!!!

Aharon had rushed in to show me that he had bough 2 onesies and knew they were perfect for us!!!!!

These are the onesies he thought were perfect!!!! He said they he read online and heard that twins can be confused for one another all he time so he thought we should put these on them!
Then I had to remind him that our twins are a boy and a girl. If we get confused (which we only did once because they were both in white onesies and it was they first day they were born!) then we can just open their diapers!!!!!!

Nedless to say he felt a little stupid but I thought it was totally cute!!!!!

The Twins!

I feel that I am so lucky to have two beautiful babies. Jackson Lee Williams was born at 11:03pm. He weighed 7lbs and 6oz. Lillian Grace Williams was born at 11:14pm and weighed 7lbs and 2oz. They were born on August 17th, 2008 and it is my favorite day!!!!

At only a week old they both already have distinct personalities!

Jack is head strong. If he wants something, he doesnt stop until he has it! Which at this age means he doesnt stop crying! But as soon as he has it, he is the calmest baby!

Lily is our mellow diva! She will whimper just enough to get on your nerves until she gets what she wants. She already has attitude like her mom too!

Daddy (Aharon) wont leave the babies alone!!!! He hates to leave the room when they are in it and wishes they could sleep in our bed!

Mommy (Samantha..me!) is a little sad that Jack isnt breast feeding as mush as his sister. Though I pump so Daddy can have a turn at feeding, we are still haveing to supplement Jack with formula.

The Long Road to Mommyhood

Getting to this point took a very long while. At some points I never thought I would be here. To let everyone know where "here" is, it is sitting in my house with my one week old son Jack in a sling type thing and listening to my future husband, Aharon, play with Jacks twin sister Lily.

Obviously it all started when I took the test. That little pink plus sign scared the H*LL (trying to stop cursing!) out of me. I was only 17 at the time so I think that response would be pretty normal. I knew I couldn't end my pregnancy, so I thought of Adoption. Some of my family had adopted before and I truely thought it would be what was best for my baby (Didnt know there was 2 in there yet!) So I told my parents about it and they were supportive. I looked online at some sites and found a few couples to email. I found one couple that i became extremely close with. Their names are Kristina and Erik. I spoke to Kiristina almost everyday and I was almost positve that they were the family ment to raise my little ones. I got along amazingly well with her and couldnt believe we had met. But then I had a family emergancy situation and wasnt able to speak with her for sometime. Then my phone and everything became messed up and communication stopped between us. But one day I got an accidental email from her and we got back into contact.

Things seemed perfect until I went to vist the twins father and he asked me to be his wife and to keep the babies. When I heard that, I knew it was the right thing to do. Kristina and I spoke and decided to stay friends(LUCKILY!!!!). She had been speaking to another birth mother and her new daughter Kayla was born before mine!!! We both believe that God put us in eachothers lives to get to where we are now and both our stories worked out!
